Candle Boxes are the containers that are used to store candles. Candle Boxes have perforated lids or covers over them. These Boxes can also act as diffusers and can be used to light the candles. Aromatic candles should be stored in airtight boxes so that their aroma is preserved. Candle Boxes have small compartments in within them to store the candles separately. Candle Boxes come in small, medium and large sizes. The body of these Candle Boxes may have designs engraved on them or metal and ivory inlay work on them. Hanging candle boxes were constructed on a backboard between 10 and 28 inches in height. One or two storage compartments were dovetailed or nailed to the backboard. Candle boxes have inserts to hold either 6 votive candles or 12 votive candles and our Colonial Style candle boxes are sized to hold their distinctive shape perfectly.
